Hearts of Oak will lock horns with Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals in a friendly game at the Pobiman Complex.

The friendly between the two Ghana Premier League sides is scheduled for Wednesday, February 20.

The game is serving as a preparatory outing for both clubs and also as a means of examining their new players ahead of the possible return of local football.

Hearts of Oak are in a rich vein of form having recorded impressive preseason wins under coach Kim Grant. Their last friendly was a 4-1 win over lower side Evergreen FC.

The friendly encounter replaces the cancelled Normalisation Committee Special competition, which was scheduled to begin last weekend.

The Rainbow boys have remodelled their club ever since they appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mark Noonan.

The CEO of the Continental Club Masters has re-designed its badge in order to “modernize the look and feel of the brand to keep pace and maintain relevance.

Further, the club has signed a deal with English sportswear Umbro to provided kits for the team. Phobians will soon have replica jerseys to wear.
