Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has announced its withdrawal from the Eko International Tournament in Lagos, Nigeria, due to a scheduling conflict.
The tournament’s rescheduling to July 13-20 clashed with the team’s essential rest and recovery period.
Prioritizing player well-being and pre-season preparations, the club made the difficult decision to withdraw.
“We sincerely apologize to the organizers and our fans who were looking forward to seeing the team in action,” the club stated.
