Accra Hearts of Oak will play Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Stadium today July 8, 2018 in the Bakatue Festival Gala.
The Gala was organised by the Omanhene of Elmina Nana Kojo Conduah VI as part of activities marking the Bakatue Festival.
A trophy for the Bakatue Cup is at stake for the winner of the Gala.
Ebusua Dwarfs will also take on Karela United in the other fixture of the Bakatue Gala.
This will be the first high profile match Hearts will be playing since the government halted all official football-related activities.

Bakatue is a festival celebrated by the chiefs and people of Elmina. The celebration of the festival dates to as far back as 1860.

It is celebrated to mark the beginning of the fishing season in Elmina. During the celebration, prayers and sacrifices are offered to the gods for a good fishing season and protection of the fishermen who will go to sea.
