Ivorian tactician Aboubakar Ouattara appointed Hearts of Oak coach

Hearts of Oak have announced the appointment of Ivorian tactician Aboubakar Ouattara as the club's new head coach.

According to the club, coach Aboubakar Ouattara will start training with the players next week.

Delali Anku-Adiamah has also been named as the Managing Director.

“The Board of Accra Hearts of Oak have appointed the Ivorian - coach Aboubakar Ouattara as the club's substantive head coach. His appointment takes immediate effect.

“Coach Ouattara has signed a two-and-half-year contract with the Club and is expected to start training next week when the team returns from this weekend's friendly game against Techiman Eleven Wonders,” the statement from Hearts of Oak said.

Coach Aboubakar Ouattara holds a CAF License 'A' coaching certificate and has worked and achieved success in several African countries both as a coach and Technical Director.

The board of Hearts of Oak is confident that coach Aboubakar Ouattara will lead the team to enjoy success.
