Kotoko appoint David Ocloo, John Eduafo as assistant coaches

Asante Kotoko have confirmed the appointment of  David Ocloo and John Eduafo as the club's new assistant coaches.

The duo will be assisting Prosper Narteh Ogum who was named as the new coach of the Porcupines on Sunday.

"We are glad to announce that Coach David Ocloo and Coach John Eduafo have joined our newly appointed Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as Assistant Coaches," Kotoko tweeted. 

Prosper Narteh after his appointment on Sunday promised to make the Reds the best club in Ghana, Africa, and the world.

“I am awfully grateful for this opportunity to serve such a great club Kumasi Asante Kotoko. Thanks to HRM Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Board, Management, and Supporters for reposing trust in me,” he wrote on his Twitter page.

“I will do my best to make Kotoko the best club in Ghana, Africa, and the world.”

Meanwhile, Kotoko will today at 3 pm commence training ahead of the new season. The training will be supervised by head coach Prosper Narteh.

The Porcupines ended the 2020/21 football season trophyless but will be hoping to make a big statement next season under the guidance of Prosper Narteh Ogum.

Kotoko have captured two players Richmond Lamptey and Maxwell Agyemang, with some couple of signings expected in the coming weeks.
