Karela United coach Bismark Kobi Mensah says his outfit is ready for the Ghana Premier League matchday 5 clash against Asante Kotoko.

According to him, the Porcupines are not special and his team will run away with the three points on Sunday.

Kotoko last season beat Karela at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park courtesy Moro Ibrahim and Kwame Opoku strikes.

The Kumasi-based team are on top form this season having won all of their four matches and lie top of the league, however, the former Samatex gaffer Bismark Kobi Mensah has said the Reds will fall on Sunday.

"Kotoko are not a special team so we are not afraid of them. We can beat them on Sunday, because they are really beatable” he told DomesticSports;

“Supporters are sad but I don’t think they should because the league has not ended. We still have may matches to play and I believe that anything can happen."

Karela United have had a slow start to the season winning just one game after four matches whereas Kotoko has four wins in the opening four matches.

Kotoko last season broke the 5-year indomitable home record of Karela United to move to the top of the Premier League table for the first time after 13 matches.

Left back Moro Ibrahim and Kwame Opoku scored in each half of the game to give the Porcupine Warriors a two zero win at the Crosby Awuah Memorial park at Aiyinasie. Prior to the defeat, Karela United had enjoyed 64 competitive games without defeat dating back to February 2016.
