Tottenham winger Mohammed Kudus is set to undergo surgery after suffering a fresh hamstring injury, casting serious doubt over his availability for Ghana’s World Cup campaign.

The 25-year-old, who has been sidelined since January with quad and hamstring issues, had only recently resumed individual training before scans on Wednesday confirmed the new setback.

The development has sent shockwaves through both Tottenham Hotspur and the Ghana camp, with the World Cup less than three months away. Ghana is drawn in Group L alongside England, Panama, and Croatia.

Kudus is expected to be out for approximately three months, a timeline that would likely rule him out for the remainder of the Premier League season.

More significantly, the injury raises major concerns about his chances of making Ghana’s final squad for the tournament, dealing a potential blow to the Black Stars’ attacking options.
