Inter Milan midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah limped off in Black Stars Wednesday training session at the Youth Sports Academy grounds in Ethiopia.
Kwadwo Asamoah has been hit with series of injuries in the last four years and has not featured for the Black Stars since the 2014 World Cup.
Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah, however, calm fears of the situation and says it is not a serious injury.
“He had a small injury. Just that I don’t want to put a problem for him to make it worse. It is important we treat it and then he trains slowly.†Kwesi Appiah told freelance Ethiopian journalist Omna Taddele Gebru.
Ghana will face the Harambee Stars of Kenya on September 8, 2018, in a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Nairobi.
