Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Premier League champions activated his release clause, which is in the region of €35 million (£29.5m), and the 24-year-old has agreed a five-year contract.
Frimpong, will replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, who moved to Real Madrid ahead of the Club World Cup.

He joins compatriots Arne Slot, Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo and Ryan Gravenberch at the club.
The Leverkusen star was pivotal in the club's remarkable unbeaten Bundesliga campaign that saw them clinch the 2023/24 title.
