Will it be another baptism of fire spearheaded by Lionel Messi or the likes of Sergio Aguero and Nolito would come to the party to save Pep Guardiola another embarrassment?

After ending their winning draught over the weekend, Manchester City are faced with another challenge of maintaining their winning ways against ‘almighty’ Barcelona.

City were beaten 4-0 when the sides met at the Nou Camp a fortnight ago and are now facing a tough battle to qualify for the last 16 from Group C.

Another loss to the Catalan giants could hand impetus to Borussia Monchengladbach or Celtic in what would then be a race for second place.

City must beat Barcelona in order to stand the chance of qualifying to the next stage of the competition as Pep Guardiola would also be looking forward to inform Nolito to help find the goals.

The striker has scored five goals since his summer move from Celta Vigo and would be looking forward to adding more goals especially in their clash against Barcelona.

Gerald Pique, Andres Iniesta and Jordi Alba would be missing in Barcelona’s lineup but with Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar leading the attack, City are definitely in danger.

Messi especially would be back to hunt his former master Pep Guardiola once again at Pep’s new grounds.

It would be a tough game with City expected to go all out for a win to keep their champions league campaign alive.
