Paris Saint Germain forward Neymar has blasted his teammate Kylian Mbappe for being late in a pre-game meeting noting that he has to show some “respectâ€.
Mbappe arrived late for the pre-game meeting ahead of their weekend encounter against Olympique Marseille which led to him being axed from the starting lineup. Mbappe was not the only one late as midfielder Adrien Rabiot was also late and was dropped to the bench in the 2-0 win over Marseille.
Neymar asked Mbappe to show some respect for the team, “ This is between them (Mbappe and Rabiot) and the coach. Yes, they have to respect the schedules, and they ended up failing in that part. They know, they are great players, important to our team, and we end up suffering because of it.â€

Kylian Mbappe came off the bench to open the scoring for PSG in the 65th minute, “But this is an inner thing. Then Kylian came in and ended up winning the game for us.†PSG manager Thomas Tuchel had this to say about the situation, “I had to think hard. It is a disciplinary situation if a player arrives late for a meeting and is not punished.â€
