NLA excited to partner Hearts of Oak - Sammy Awuku

The Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) Sammy Awuku has stated that his outfit is excited to have entered into a partnership deal with Hearts of Oak.

The NLA at an event today, November 29 at the Coconut Grove Hotel in Accra signed a GHC 1million deal with the Ghana Premier League champions.

According to Director-General Sammy Awuku, the NLA will benefit from this deal.

“Accra Hearts of oak is our landlord and we are excited about this deal and we know that the players' performance will impact this deal,” the NLA Director-General said while speaking at the launch today.

At the event, Hearts of Oak board member Vincent Odotei expressed the delight of the club to have finally sealed the partnership deal.

Management of both partners worked hard to complete the deal and are now keen on fulfilling their parts to ensure the deal is mutually beneficial to all throughout the period.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak rivals Asante Kotoko have also signed a deal with the National Lottery Authority (NLA).

The deal worth 1 million cedis, was formally announced on Monday, November 22 at the Golden Tulip Hotel- Kumasi.

The launch was graced by Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer [CEO], Nana Yaw Amponsah and NLA boss, Samuel Awuku.

The one-year partnership is expected runs from the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season with subject to renewal.

Also present at the official launch were Asante Kotoko club legends, namely Coach Kwasi Appiah, Daniel Asare, George Kennedy, Opoku Nti, Abdul Razak and Papa Arko.
