Chelsea have appealed against a transfer ban imposed on them by the World’s football governing body FIFA.
According to Sky sources, FIFA have confirmed receiving the Premier League club’s appeal but no decision has been taken on freezing the sanction during the legal process.

The club had previously issued a statement saying: “We categorically refute the findings of the FIFA Disciplinary Committeeâ€, and would be appealing the ban on signing any new players for two seasons.
Chelsea were fined over £460,000 and the Football Association was fined over £390,000 for the breach.
According to FIFA, the London club have also been twice found to have breached regulations relating to third-party influence.
