Management member of Accra Hearts of Oak Alhaji Akambi has revealed that talisman Patrick Razak has one more year in his contract with the club.

Alhaji Akambi has rubbished reports circulating that Patrick Razak's contract expires in November.

Patrick Razak has said earlier urged the club to release him after his contract expires in November.

"I hope when my contract ends in November, management will accept one of the many offers so that I can go and seek new prospects elsewhere.'' Patrick Razak told Graphic Sports.

However, the Hearts of Oak management member dismissed the player's claim and said Patrick Razak have one more year left in his contract.

“I want our supporters to listen to me carefully, Razak’s contract has not run out yet, we still have one valid season (contract) with Razak Patrick, so no one should panic”, he told Fox FM.

“I only want people to understand that with Patrick Razak the contract is not ending this November, it is never true” he added.

Patrick Razak joined the Phobians from Tamale Utrecht two and half seasons ago and has been the club's best player this season.

Patrick Razak was also an integral member of the Black Stars B squad that won the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations hosted in Ghana.
