Photos: Black Stars arrive in Kumasi ahead of World Cup qualifier

The Black Stars have arrived in Kumasi for Friday's FIFA World Cup playoff against Nigeria.

Players and officials of the team departed Accra on Tuesday morning and arrived in Kumasi in the afternoon.

Coach Otto Addo's team is expected to train later in the day to sharpen the rough edges ahead of the Nigeria showdown on Friday.

The Back Stars will take on the Super Eagles in two matches scheduled for Kumasi and Abuja respectively as the search for a ticket to November’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar heats up.

Ghana will host the 1st leg at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Friday, March 25 before travelling to Abuja for the 2nd leg on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

The Winner of the two legs will progress to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament.

Ghana are seeking to return to the Mundial for the fourth time having missed out in the last edition hosted in Russia.
