Edwin Gyasi is a Dutch-born Ghanaian winger who plays for Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia.

Date of Birth
27-year-old Gyasi was born on 1 July 1991 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Early football career
Gyasi started his football career at Amsterdamsche Football Club, known as AFC in the Netherlands. He left and joined AZ in 2010 but never made an appearance for the club.

Telstar (loan)
In 2010 he joined Telstar on loan and played 29 times for the club and scored a total of three goals before leaving in 2011 to join De Graafschap on a permanent deal in 2012.

He made just a single appearance for the side and left in 2012.

FC Twente


He joined FC Twente in 2012 and spent a season with the club playing on 13 occasions and scored a goal.

Heracles Almelo


He left Twente in 2013 to join Heracles and managed only 5 games in two seasons. He left for Roda JC in 2015.

Roda JC Kerkrade  

He was a hit at Roda as he played 30 games for the side and scored 3. His performances caught the attention of Norwegian side Aalesund.

Aalesund


In 2016 Aalesund signed Gyasi and he had his best campaign in professional football as he played 53 times and scored 12 goals between 2016 and 2017.


CSKA Sofia

Bulgarian side CSKA Sofia snapped him up in 2018 and he is currently with the side where he has played 17 games and scored 3 goals.

International career


Gyasi made his senior debut for the Ghana national football team in a 5-1 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification win over Congo on 5 September 2017.
