24-year-old Sackey was born on 4 April 1994 in Berekum, Brong Ahafo, Ghana.
Early football career
Sackey started his career with Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals, he came through the ranks of the club.
He made 41 appearances for Liberty between 2010 and 2012 and scored 5 goals in return.
FC Slovan Liberec
He left Dansoman based Liberty Professionals in 2012 to joined Czech side FC Slovan Liberec.
At Liberec, he established himself as a regular and represented the club on 59 occasions and scored 4 goals.
Alanyaspor
In 2016 Sackey was on the move again as he joined Turkish side Alanyaspor. He has played 48 times for the side and chipped in 2 goals so far.
International career
Sackey got his first call-up to the Black Stars in 2017, he has featured on 4 occasions and yet to score a goal.
