Cristiano Ronaldo has been left out of the Portugal team to face Italy and Poland in the Nations League.
The Azzurri must beat Fernando Santos’ side to have any hope of advancing to the finals, and it was rumoured the Juventus man would return for the crunch game. Santos has named his squad this afternoon though, with Ronaldo not included.
Ronaldo's Juventus teammate Joao Cancelo is in the squad, as is Napoli’s Mario Rui and Joao Mario of Inter.
