Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane scored a hat-trick as England beat Panama 6-1 to qualify in the Russia 2018 World Cup.

This win sends England to the next stage of the competition even though they will play their last group game against Belgium who have also booked a place.

England started the riot early in the game as Kieran Trippier swung in a corner and defender John Stones coolly headed home in the 8th minute to make it 1-0.

The second goal came in the 22nd minute after Jesse Lingard was brought down in the box, Kane stepped up and made no mistake by making it 2-0.

Jesse Lingard then scored a stunner in the 36th minute, he controlled a pass from Sterling and unleashed a shot into the net to make it 3-0.

At this point England were home and dry and John Stones scored his second of the day in the 40th minute, a rebound fell to the defender and he headed into an empty net.

Kane made it 5-0 before halftime as he scored another penalty.

England were more relaxed in the second half after a shot from Loftus-Cheek deflected off Harry Kane and ended up in the net in the 62nd minute.

Panama refused to give up without a fight as they scored their first ever World Cup goal Felipe Baloy met a free kick and tapped it home.
