Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu has given an update on Gladson Awako's situation at the club.
Reports over the weekend suggested that Awako who joined Hearts of Oak last month on a two-year deal has left the club over the fear of juju (Black Magic) in the team.
The Phobians were without the new recruit on Sunday in their 2-0 win over CI Kamsar. The coach has however revealed that the midfielder's absence was due to illness.
He wished Awako a speedy recovery in order to come join his teammates as they bid to rule Africa.
"He was not feeling well that's why he was not in the matchday squad. I hope he will be okay so that in our subsequent matches he features," he told Happy FM.
Asked whether he has had that Awako has quit Hearts of Oak, Boadu said he has not heard anything like that.Â

The 30-year-old former TP Mazembe man joined the Phobians on a two-year deal after ending his deal with city rivals Accra Great Olympics.
The midfielder has been influential since he returned to the domestic top-flight last season.
He bagged six goals and provided seven assists as the Dade Boys finished sixth position on the league log.
