Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari played a part in Deportivo's 1-1 draw with Las Palmas in a Spanish La Liga match on Saturday, March 17, 2018.

Muntari who recently joined Deportivo La Curuna on a free transfer lasted 75 minutes for the club against Las Palmas.

Both clubs needed the 3 points badly as they currently are in the drop zone.

Las Palmas broke the game's deadlock as early as the 3rd minute through former Barcelona player Alen Halilovic.

Spanish defender Albentosa Paul met a well-taken corner and headed straight into the net to level the game.

Sulley Muntari received a yellow card in the 47th minute after making a bad challenge on his opponent.

He was replaced in the 75th minute by Borges Celso.
