Tactical discipline earned Black Queens triumph over Uruguay- Evans Adotey

Black Maidens head coach, Evans Adotey has attributed the Black Maidens victory over Uruguay to the tactical discipline of the team. 

The Black Maidens dismantled host Uruguay 5-0 on the opening day at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2018.

Captain and forward Abdulai Mukarama netted a hat-trick followed by goals from Milot Pokuaa and Fuseina Mumuni ensured the massive victory for Ghana.

Coach Evans Adotey after the triumph said his tactics was well executed by the Maidens which was crucial in their win.

"It was a very good performance, we planned on attacking and defending as well so my tactics worked to perfection as I said earlier," he said in a post-match interview.

Coach Evans Adotey added that his outfit will identify their frailties and improve upon them before facing Finland in their next encounter.

"Well, we need to go back and then make corrections on what we saw wrong today and how we can improve on our tactics so the day will decide," he added.
