Thomas Partey has started training at Arsenal after making full recovery from his ankle injury sustained during their pre-season defeat to Chelsea.

The 28-year-old limped off during the Gunners' 2-1 pre-season friendly defeat to Chelsea last month.

Due to this, the midfielder missed the Gunners' opening 3 games in the Premier League.

Partey who had earlier been named in the provisional squad was ruled out of the September games due to his injury.

He had to withdraw from the Black Stars squad for World Cup 2022 qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa.

However, Partey has recovered and will be hoping to make the Gunners squad as they take on Norwich over the weekend.

Pictures from Arsenal training ground at London Colney on Monday showed the midfielder is putting in a shift to catch the attention of Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal host Norwich at the Emirates at 2:00pm on Sataurday.
