Three-member FIFA Committee set to meet Ghana government

FIFA has set up and tasked a three-member Committee to come to Ghana on June 21, 2018 and have an extensive conversation with the government on how to solve and revive the crises of Ghana football is currently facing.


Initially, the sports minister, Isaac Kwame Asiamah alongside two FA officials was supposed to travel to Switzerland to have a conversation with FIFA but  World football governing body preferred sending a three-man delegation to Ghana for an extensive talk with the government.

Elvis Adjei-Baah, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in an interview told Accra-based radio station, Hot Fm that FIFA has rather chosen  a three-member delegation to fly in and discuss ways to revive our game after the Anas investigative expose caused the FA to halt all football related activities in the country.

"Then intensive talk with the FIFA delegates and government will take place on Friday June 22, 2018 on how far things have happened as far as restructuring is a concern and also restore some sanity into the game following the rot found in the Anas expose''
