Ghana Football has seen the rise of many clubs that have thrived and made strides both locally and internationally.
Some of the clubs failed to maintain their momentum and may not have seen success in a long while but their achievement and history are still intact.

Arguably the biggest club in Ghana football. Popularly known as the Porcupine Warriors.
They have been champions of the Ghana Premier League a record 24 times, and have won the CAF Champions League twice.
Kotoko have 8 FA Cups, 3 Ghana Super Cups.
The International Federation of Football History and Statistics ranked Asante Kotoko the African club of the 20th century.
2. Accra Hearts of Oak
Kotoko's biggest rivals in Ghana Football, the oldest club in Ghana has also enjoyed success in the country.
Hearts of Oak have won the Premiership on 20 occasions.
They have 10 FA Cup titles and 2 Ghana Super Cup.
The Phobians have 1 CAF Champions League and 1 CAF Confederations Cup.They also have one CAF Super Cup.
3. Ashanti Gold S.C
Ashanti Gold Soccer Club based in Obuasi. Founded in 1978 is one of the most successful football clubs in the country.
The miners have 4 Premier League titles to their name and 1 FA Cup.
4. Accra Great Olympics
Oly dade, Oly rosalinda are a few of the numerous nicknames the club bear. The club competed in the 2017 Ghanaian Premier League but got relegated at the end of the season.
Olympics was formed in 1954 and are one of the most successful clubs in the country.
They have 2 Premier League titles and 3 FA Cup titles.
5. Aduana Stars
Popularly known as the Ogya boys. The club made headlines in their debut season in the Ghana Premier League in 2010.
They won the League in the 2009-10 season and are currently the champions of the League. They have 2 Premiership titles.
Based in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. The Club formed in 2000 has fast risen to be a household name in Ghana Football.
Chelsea have 1 Ghana Premier League title which they won in the 2010–11 season.
7. Wa All Stars
All Stars are owned by President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi.
The club was founded in 2006 and is based in the Upper West region.
They won the Ghana Premier League in the 2015-16 season. They also won the GFA gala in 2018.
8.Sekondi Eleven Wise
Affectionately called the Western Show Boys, they are arguably the most popular and best supported football team in the Western Region of Ghana.
Founded in 1919, the Club won the national league in 1960 after two fruitless attempts.
They now ply their trade in Ghana's second Division.
9. Nania FC
Owned by Ghanaian Football legend Abedi Ayew Pele.
The maestro founded the team in 1998 and are currently in the Division one league.
Nania despite their woes Nania defeated Kotoko in 2011 to win their only FA Cup and also beat Berekum Chelsea to clinch the Ghana Super Cup.
10. Bechem United
Bechem United is based in the Brong-Ahafo region and was founded in 1966.
They are currently playing in the Ghana Premier League.
Bechem United won the FA Cup in 2016.
