There were four wins and three draws on the first day of  Round 1 of the UEFA Champions League.
Barcelona and Bayern Munich had big wins, 7-0 and 5-0 over Celtic and FC Rostov respectively while last year's runners-up, Atletico Madrid and Napoli had narrow away wins, 1-0 and 2-1 over PSV and Dynamo Kyiv respectively.
Arsenal held PSG to a 1-1 draw in Paris, FC Basel versus Ludogorets ended 1-1 as well as Benfica versus Besiktas 1-1.
The match between Manchester City and Monchengldbach was postponed to Wednesday after heavy rains, thunder and lightning hit the city.
