Bayern Munich thrashed Tottenham 7-2 in London to maintain their unbeaten run in the 2019/20 Champions League campaign.

Four goals, from Serge Gnabry a brace from Lewandoski and Kimmick humiliated Spurs at their own backyard.

The German giants headed into the game full of confidence following their opening day 3-0 win over FK Crvena Zvezda while Spurs managed a 2-2 away draw against Olympiacos Piraeus.

The London club threatened the Bavarians as early as the 6th minute when Heung-Min Son had an opportunity to put his side ahead but his shot was saved by Manuel Neuer.

However, Neuer wasn't second time lucky when he came up against Heung-Min Son whose strike went past him into the back of the net in the 12th minute.

Joshua Kimmich restored parity for the German giants 4 minutes later after striking the ball outside the box.

Robert Lewandowski put the visitors head for the first time in the game at the stroke of half time, blasting the ball into the bottom right corner inside the box.

Serge Gnabry scored two quick goals for Bavarians in the second department of the game before Harry Kane reduced the deficit to make the game 4-2.

Serge Gnabry scored his third goal of the day before Lewandowski added another to make it 6-2. He then added another to make the 7-2.

Elsewhere, Juventus returned to winnings ways after earning a point in their opening game against Atletico Madrid a fortnight ago. The Italian club ease past Bayern Leverkusen with goals from Gonzalo Higuain, Federico Bernardeschi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
