Video: Kofi Kyereh fires St. Pauli to top of table

Ghana attacking midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh on Friday night propelled FC St. Pauli to victory over FC Heidenheim in the German Bundesliga II.

The Ghanaian international scored the match-winner in their 1-0 home win against the Red and Blues at the Millerntor Stadium.

He met a perfect cross from Leart Paqarada deep inside the box and controlled it with a nice first touch in the 61st minute.

The goal was his 10th of the season.

The win jumps Kofi Kyereh's FC St. Pauli to the top of the table with 51 points after 27 matches.

Kofi Kyereh is expected to feature in Ghana's upcoming World Cup qualifier against Nigeria later this month.

Ghana will play Nigeria in the 1st leg on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 19:30GMT at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi before the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on March 29, 2022 with the winner of both legs securing qualification to the biggest soccer Mundial in Qatar.
