Ghana's midfielder Thomas Partey made a brilliant assist to setup Antoine Griezmann in Atletico Madrid’s 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League.
The Odumase Krobo-born midfielder played the full 90 minutes for the win that propelled Los Colchoneros to second place and nine points level with Group A leaders Dortmund.
The assist came in the 80th minute when Partey made a superb sprint from around the centre circle to get behind two Dortmund defenders, while also creating space for Griezmann to attack the penalty box, Partey slowed himself to make a one-touch assist with his right foot where Griezmann was in acres of space with only the goalkeeper to beat.
The Frenchman made no mistake when he brilliantly took two touches to protect the ball from the challenging defender before slotting past the keeper with his left boot.
