President of the Ghana Boxing Authority Peter Zwennes says he is optimistic that the nation will enjoy more success in the sport this year.
Ghana Boxing was on the decline in recent years but has gathered momentum as the likes of Isaac Dogbe have won world titles.
"I am looking at other fights for Habib Mohammed, Raphael Mensah, Richard Commey and Dogbe too, so we are looking forward to more World titles"
"Ghana boxing is more vibrant and alive," He said in an interviewed on Asempa FM
WBO Interim Super Bantamweight Champion Isaac Dogboe has lightened up the sport lately with some brilliant wins with the latest being a bout with Mexican Cesar Juarez.
The undefeated boxer once again showed his brilliance in the sports as he knocked down his opponent in round 5 of the bout.
