Hertha Berlin striker Myziane Maolida was named the man of the match as his brilliant solo goal secured all three points for Comoros against the Black Stars in the World Cup 2026 qualifier on Tuesday.
The striker's 43rd-minute goal separated the two sides after 90 minutes of football as the Black Stars struggled to fine their rhythm.
The defeat is Black Stars' second consecutive loss against Comoros after the 2021 Afcon 3-2 defeat in the group stage.
Antoine Semenyo missed one chance to open the score early in the game before Comoros forward Maolida took his chance before halftime.
Chris Hughton has made three changes ahead of the game.
Denis Odoi, Kasim Nuhu Adams and captain Andre Ayew were named in place of injured Daniel Amartey, Alidu Seidu and Mohammed Kudus.
The Black Stars are now 3rd on the group standings with 3 points taken from two games whilst minnows Comoros surprisingly go top of the group with six points from two matches. Mali , who drew at home to Central African Republic on Monday, are second with four points.
