In some somber news, model and actress Kim Porter was found dead on Thursday at her Los Angeles home. She was 47.Â
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources revealed that they received a call to Porter's Toluca Lake home at around 12:00 noon.
As heard in the emergency dispatch audio, the call came in as a "patient in cardiac arrest."The site further explained that insiders connected to Porter relayed that she had been suffering from pneumonia for "several weeks." The exact cause of her death remains a mystery, however.
Aside from her work as a model and actress, Porter was known mostly for dating entertainment mogul Diddy, off and on, for 13 years, beginning in 1994 and officially ending in 2007.
The couple shared three children together — twin girls Jessie James and D'Lila, 11; and Christian, 20. Porter also had a son, Quincy, 27, from a previous relationship with Al B. Sure.
In regards to her untimely death, Diddy's rep told the site, "Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time."
