The aggrieved customers of DKM Micro-finance company are calling on the President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo to go by his promise of paying them back their locked-up investments.

President-elect in the run up to the just ended 2016 general elections promise to reimburse the aggrieved customers if voted into power at a mini rally in the Brong Ahofo region “I’ll pay you back in full when I become president.”
He further added "I will investigate government's inability to pay the tier two pension monies as well as investigate the DKM scandal and to ensure that there would be total restoration to all affected in both scandals.”

However, the spokesperson of some of the customers in Tamale, Mohammed Ibn Issaka, in an interview with Citi FM stated that they are hopeful the president elect will adhere to his promise.
“...We just want to remind him of the promises he gave us. Infact Nana Addo received massive endorsement from most of the DKM customers in the country. He was voted for because of the promise he gave us. We only have the hope that he will be able to fulfill his promises and not fail us.”
