The Member of Parliament for Bongo and a member of the Energy Committee of Parliament, Edward Bawa, says the continues presence of the Managing Director of Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST), Alfred Obeng Boateng, will undermine the integrity of the findings of the eight-member committee.
Edward Bawa questioned the continues presence of the MD and asked him to step aside and come back once investigations yet to be carried out into the activities exonerate him.
The Energy Ministry has instituted an eight-member committee to probe an alleged contaminated fuel sold by BOST to Movenpiina and Zup oil, which has become a subject of controversy between the NPP and NDC
Speaking on TV3, Mr. Bawa lauded the committee setup by the Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko to probe the contaminated fuel sold by Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company (BOST) to the two companies.
According to him, the institutions that form part of the committee are good since they will help establish the authenticity of the issue.
