The New Patriotic Party’s policy advisor for the 2016 election campaign, Boakye Agyarko is accusing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led government of negligence in its disbursement of funds to waste disposing company, Zoomlion Ghana Limited.

According to Mr. Agyarko, an initial payment of GH₵62m to the Zoomlion out of a GH₵448m sum purported to be payments under the Youth Modules despite a cancellation of the contract bears testimony that this Mahama led government has shown little or no inclination to fight corruption.

He stated at a press briefing that on the average an employee under the module run by Zoomlion is charged GH₵4979 for his or her training and job placement by Zoomlion yearly which it takes from government adding that the company takes GH₵414 as monthly management fee.

Yet according to the NPP Policy Advisor, checks with the employees under the module showed they are given paltry sums ranging from GH₵200 to GH₵300 monthly exposing Zoomlion as ripping government off or of a grand scheme in place by a cabal on both sides to create and enjoy the loot.
