Dr. Philomena Nyarko replaced  Dr. Grace Bediako as head of the GSS in 2012 will be leaving  at a time Ghana's inflation rate is hovering19.2 percent, a six-year high.
Speaking on Starr FM, she said a competent person would be appointed to take over from her.
