Stonebwoy has congratulated Afrobeats musician King Promise after losing out on the Artiste of the Year award to him at the 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
King Promise beat off stiff competition from Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, King Paluta, Joe Mettle, Team Eternity, and Kweku Smoke to win the coveted award.

Taking to his social media platform, Stonebwoy saluted the Paris hitmaker on his first-ever win of the TGMA’s top honour.

King Promise, on the night, walked away with four awards at the event held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
- Artiste of the Year
- Best Afropop Song of the Year (Paris)
- Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year
- Best Album/EP of the Year (True to Self)
Stonebwoy on the other hand, won Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year (with Psalm 23) and Best Music Video of the Year.
Other winners on the night were Ayisi, Empress Gifty, Kofi Kinaata, Esther Godwyll, Kweku Smoke, KiDi, Team Eternity Ghana and Tulenkey.
