Mikki Osei Berko aka Master Richard of the popular TV programs tax Driver and Dada Boat says his contract with Multimedia’s Adom FM was terminated without any reason from his employers.

The actor after seven years in the United Kingdom returned home and was employed to host ‘Drive Time Show’, the afternoon show. He was brought in after the departure of Abeiku Santana but after five months his contract was abruptly terminated.

Speaking on Joy FM’s cosmopolitan Mix, Mikki Osei Berko said he was not sacked as some section of the media reported, but his contract was terminated and till date, no one has given him a reason for that decision.

In a response to some claims in the media his brand wanted afterward, he denied that ever happened, insisting brands such as MTN and Club beer would not associate with a questionable brand.  To the actor, it was premature for the management of the station to terminate his contract because he was doing the very best to add to the existing numbers he came to meet, though some things were a bit new to him.

Master Richard also revealed that the termination of his appointment broke his heart because he left everything to return to Ghana and to the job. He, however, stated categorically that he will not turn down any appointment from any radio station.

Mikki Osei Berko started as a stage theatre performer, then TV Theatre performer on the National Television and later as a Presenter on Radio Univers. He has since hosted several shows on many top local radio stations including, Radio Gold, Happy FM, Kessben FM, Kente Radio before Adom FM gave him a contract upon his arrival from the United Kingdom.  He also served as the Assemblyman for the Ayidiki electoral area for one term from 2002 - 2006
