TV personality and comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger says Ghanaians are 'sycophantic' as they did not give late Dancehall Artiste Ebony reigns the treatment she deserved when she was alive.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Primenewsghana.com at the final funeral rites of artiste Ebony Reigns born Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng happening at the forecourt of the State House, Afia Schwarzenneger claims most of the people who trouped in to witness her funeral rites are hypocrites.
She said that while Ebony was alive, all people did was badmouth her but she was just being herself and living her life as she pleased.
Afia Schwarzenegger added that "Ghanaians love funerals...They wait until the person is dead before they recognize you properly. While you are alive nobody respects you, they talk to you anyhow, If you are not a star, nobody cares but once you are dead, they will come and sit at your funeral."
