Footballer cum musician Asamoah Gyan says the disappearance of his compatriot and hip life artiste, Theophilus Tagoe, popularly known as Castro is having a negative effect on his music life.

The prolific striker in an interview with Accra based radio station Hot FM revealed that, his urge to do music is gradually dying ever since Castro strangely disappeared in Ada.

" Ever since Castro disappeared, I have been a bit dull and the urge to do music is not reallly there because am slowing loosing love for music.

"I have songs I did with him before he disappeared and I am looking at releasing them at the right time." He added.

The pair together released hit songs like 2014 high life song of the year "Odo Pa", African girls and Do the dance.

On 6 July 2014, Castro and Janet Bandu were reported to have drowned following a jet ski accident in the Ada Estuary while on holiday with the Asamoah Gyan.

People presume that he is alive, the jet ski involved in the accident was recovered 4 months later but their bodies have not been recovered.
