Popular radio and TV presenter Valentina Agyeiwaa, alias Afia Schwarzenegger has been charged with fraud by the Nima Police.
The District Police Commander, Superintendent Paul Bampo who is said to have confirmed her arrest to an Adom FM presenter, disclosed that a former manager of popular Ghanaian musician Becca, Kiki Benson reported her to the police for allegedly defrauding him.
The presenter, Mike 2, who was at the police station today August 10, said the outspoken Afia Schwarzenegger was detained by the police for more than four hours. After interrogations, she was charged with fraud and assault and was granted bail pending investigations.
Speaking to Adom FM after her release, Afia Schwarzenegger denied having been arrested saying she rather came to lodge a complaint against someone who wanted to defraud her.
“It is not true I have been arrested, someone owes me and I came for my money. Check my bag, it’s full of moneyâ€.
But Superintendent Paul Bampo has insisted Afia Schwarzenegger is under investigations for defrauding Kiki Benson.
