Well wishes have been pouring in on social media from fans of the most celebrated hip hop artiste in Ghana, Sarkodie, known in real life as Michael Owusu Addo who is celebrating his birthday today.
Many prayed for long life and prosperity so they can continue to enjoy the great songs of the prolific rapper for a very long time to come.

The official Facebook feed of Sarkodie announced the birthday with a post that said "I'm a Year Older today thank God...is[its] a long journey now we here! Never Give Up.

The artiste who is 32years old today was born on the 10th of July 1985 at Tema in the Greater Accra region. Through Adom FM's popular rap competition Kasahare Level, Sarkodie rose to fame and featured on two songs of the Volta Regime album, after which he released his debut album Makye which got a nationwide endorsement.

His music has landed him some honours including BET Award for Best International Act Africa in 2012 and many awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. He has four albums to his credit namely Makye, Rapperholic, Sarkology and Mary.
