Ghanaian songstress, Gyakie, performed with her dad, Nana Acheampong, for the first time at her maiden concert on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
The ‘Forever’ hitmaker earlier in a Twitter post announced that her dad will be performing with her on stage at the concert.
According to her, it’s a dream come through to have the legendary highlife musician on stage with her.
Also, she has constantly maintained in her interviews that her dad motivated her to do music because she always saw him rehearsing with his band and also saw how fans reacted to his songs.

Prime News has sighted videos posted by Zionfelix on Instagram from the concert that show Gyakie and her dad thrilling fans with their performance of songs back to back.
Nana Acheampong, who’s been out of the music scene for a while now, excited the crowd with his jam tunes on stage and made some patrons emotional when he gave his daughter, Gyakie a warm hug after their amazing performance on the night and expressed how proud he is of his daughter.
He also thanked Ghanaians for supporting his daughter.
The concert was dubbed ‘The Live Experience With Gyakie.'
It was held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
It saw performances from artistes like Kwesi Arthur, Kidi, Black Sheriff, Efya, among others.
During her thrilling performance, Gyakie invited her father to mount the stage and both delivered exquisitely to the admiration of the packed audience.
The performance by Gyakie and her Father is the first performance witnessed by the public since the serial hitmaker burst onto the music scene.
The night was filled with high moments as many enjoyed the performances by father and daughter.
