I am still a virgin and will be engaged in 2020- Maame Serwaa

Young Kumawood actress, Clara Amoateng Benson popularly known as Maame Serwaa has insisted that she is still a virgin though in a relationship and will be engaged in 2020.

In an interview on TV3's New Day program, the 17-year-old said, she is yet to get her first kiss from her boyfriend who is in the University.

The Senior High School graduate said she is "madly" in love with her boyfriend whom she recently(after completing SHS) started dating. Asked when she would get a promissory ring, Maame Serwaa answered, 2020.

She said, her grades were good and would be pursuing a course connected to her recent profession(showbiz) at the University.

According to the actress, she does not have a crush on any of the actors in the Ghanaian movie industry, despite the presence of tempting 'fine faces' including Bill Asamoah, Majid Michel, Agjetey Annang and Prince David Osei.

Her role models she said are Emelia Brobbey and Jackie Appiah and also admires Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeats artist Ebony Reigns and her music.

"I would have loved to become a Customs Officer and might be considering a career in that area aside acting," she disclosed.

She also said, she wanted to be treated even now as a little girl and not as an adult. The teenager would be embarking on the "Girl Child Talk" project which is aimed at engaging and encouraging young girls to go to school.

Maame Serwaa started her acting career at age six and has maintained a consistent career for almost a decade, winning several awards.
