Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has revealed that he decided to undergo the knee surgery to honour his late mother.

The musician was involved in a fatal accident several years ago which led to the death of his twin brother and caused him to limp whenever he walks.

However, Stonebwoy is set to start walking normally in about three months after a successful surgery.

“This is a great news and for me this is for my mother, I did this for my mother and if she were here she would say I am stubborn because I know that I wouldn’t have told her before I got to Germany,” Stonebwoy told Accra-based Starr FM.

Stonebwoy said he was undergoing physiotherapy through severe pains but expressed hope that he would feel well in few months.

“Definitely everything would be well, I am ok, at least my mum would be happy in her grave,” he said.
