Kumawood teen actress cum musician, Yaa Jackson has now overcome some critics on social media over her personality as reveal that she is a proud 'Slay Queen'.
In times past, the term 'Slay Queen' was welcomed by our female celebrities as it connoted an intelligent and successful woman who also had a strong fashion sense.
However, lately, the term is associated with negative stuff. Now when a slay queen is mentioned, it is someone who sleeps around for money and is not intelligent so now the very same people who welcomed it are shying away from it.

Kumawood actress, Yaa Jackson, says she is proud to own the slay queen title. In an Instagram post on Friday, January 25, the young actress posted a picture and captioned it, “If we fall we go fly later. Just be who you are and forget everybody. I’m a Proud Slay Queen.â€
In another post, she talked about how she does not care what people say about her or how they perceive her.
Yaa Jackson added that she likes the mistakes she is making does not want to be anybody else apart from who she is now.
The post accompanying the picture read, “that’s my biggest achievement in life. I know who I am and I love who I am I like what I do and I like how I do it and I like my mistakes and I like the pace with which I learned my mistakes I don’t want to be anybody else but me and by knowing this I want to continue Figuring out who the f*** I am."

Just days ago, Yaa Jackson’s father, Mr Bentum told Hitz FM's Andy Dosty that he is surprised at the way his daughter has handled all the criticism she has received.

“I wonder the type of heart my daughter is having because I find her to be very strong considering how she has been handling her fame and the myriad of criticism," he said.
Yaa Jackson was condemned heavily in the media after her interview with Delay on the Delay Show about two months ago. In the interview, she claimed that she dated and dumped an old MP because he "refused to pay."
She also said her clothes cost not less than GHc1,000 for each indicating that she is rich.
