For a moment, Chief Executive Officer of 2Hypegang Worldwide Kwbena Safo alias Showboy had a formidable alliance with ‘Pei Kakra’ rapper, Criss Waddle such that when Criss had a fracas with Shatta Wale, Showboy unleashed his venom on the Korle Gonno godfather.
Again it was Criss who disclosed that one brother who played an instrumental role in his Amanfuo Girls (AMG) Business label was Showboy intimating that when he’s broke it is the brethren who sorts him out. So ideally their friendship, brotherhood and alliance was thought to be impregnable.
To show their bond, the green and gold hair dyed man appeared in Waddle’s ‘Biegya’ music video having a jolly time but it appears recent developments point to a shift in relations.
It so happened that Georgia based Showboy had a fight with one Junior also a Ghanaian leading to his incarceration for 32 days in a George state Prison. True, Criss Waddle in Ghana sent out through Facebook post & tweets his pain and anguish over the arrest of his brother even using the free Showboy photo as his display profile on Facebook and other social media platforms but it just seems Showboy is unenthused with Waddle’s efforts.
Upon his release, Akim Oda native Showboy made a few curious posts which excluded Criss Waddle alerting this writer that something was amiss.

Even more interesting, 23-year-old Showboy made his peace with Shatta Wale.

If prisons are to reform, it sure did impact Mr. Safo who wants to pursue a path of knowledge keen to shift from his old ways.

Showboy says his passion is for music nothing more although he is yet to truly make a music name for himself. Some have implied his good self and Waddle are scammers or ‘sakawa’ boys using music as a cover up while cruising in choice cars and living in superb apartments.
A check on Waddle’s page also has little information regarding Showboy’s release from prison. It remains to be seen if the close pals have lost their affection for each other because of the prison stint of Showboy.
Perhaps Showboy expected more concern, effort and show of affection from Waddle in his darkest moments. Whatever the reasons one hopes sanity prevails.
