A station in the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) stable, Live FM has chosen to dedicate its Wednesday programming to playing strictly Ghanaian songs.

It would be recalled Giovanni Caleb was the Programme’s Head at the station till he was reassigned to the Starr Drive show after Bola Ray’s hanging of his on-air mic.

In Giovanni’s stead, Antoine Mensah got promoted to Programme’s Manager position and it appears, the young lad is keen to leave a mark.

“Setting aside a day for only Ghanaian music on air is our way of supporting and promoting the growth of the Ghanaian music industry as we’ve done in the past. We are stepping up our support game a little more” the declaration read.

With this move, the station which brands itself as urban and hip is stating that locally produced music also has the swag so why not.
