Gospel musician Gifty Osei evoked a fury of responses from observers and critics alike when she uploaded a video with heavy make-up on. In the video, the ‘Aseda’ hitmaker sought to encourage her fans to strive on despite challenges but her cosmetic face rather became a topic of discussion.
Coming back in another video to slam her critics, the ‘Hyebre Sesafoe’ implied that haters made her ‘train’ instead of trend. Coupled with her LAFA (Locally Acquired Foreign Accent) and her feigned difficulty in speaking Twi, there was another bashing session from those who viewed the video.
Gifty, equally was mocked by some who considered the $2000 long bridal sheer net gown from Dubai she wore for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards a waste of money.
Even before things got this heated, Gift’s mum Lady Chicago a.k.a. Maame Fante who herself is no push over and very much in cosmetics and fashion submitted to Soko Heema a while back that she is fair as is her late father and children stressing Gifty is equally fair and is not bleaching as speculated.
She further volleyed that Ghanaians should stop being intrusive in her daughter’s affairs and allow her to be expressive.
