For nearly two decades, one name has consistently lit up the Ghanaian stage — Uncle Ebo Whyte. Through Roverman Productions, his words and stories have become the heartbeat of Ghana’s contemporary theatre, telling tales that entertain, heal, provoke thought, and inspire hope.
This year, as Roverman Productions celebrates 17 years of consistency and excellence, audiences are in for yet another masterpiece — Voices in My Head.
The play tells the gripping story of Cheslie, a gospel star who had it all: fame, love, and a voice that moved nations. But when a scandal strikes, her crown shatters, her reputation burns, and she sinks into despair. Just when she feels most alone, Rod, the ex she betrayed, walks back into her life. What starts as a reunion quickly escalates into a spiritual battlefield for her very soul — where light and darkness collide.
Over the years, Roverman has given audiences unforgettable plays like Devil’s Wife, I Want To Feed You, I Like What You Like, and the recent hit Love on the Ropes, each exploring themes of love, family, and the resilience of the human spirit. These productions have not only drawn crowds to the National Theatre but have also redefined theatre as a mainstay of Ghanaian entertainment.
